A message from Mayor Lane:

On behalf of the Council, staff and myself as Mayor of the Town of Gore Bay I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to former Mayor Joyce Foster and her family on the passing of Tom Foster, a husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many in this community.    Tom was a personal friend of mine and he was known over the years for his love of the outdoors, playing golf and cards.

He was a long time member of the community of Gore Bay and we will all miss him
