2024 SHOW INFORMATION

Gore Bay will be presenting two plays performed this summer in repertory so that residents and visitors  can attend both shows in the same week.

Gore Bay Theatre presents "The Housekeeper" by James Prideaux. This offbeat comedy deals with the unlikely involvement which develops between a middle aged rather stuffy bachelor, and the eccentric bag lady he hire as a housekeeper. Rocky Mountain News calls it "a hilarious comedy and a comic valentine".

The second play is "Painting Churches" by Tina Howe. A comedic drama about a talented artist who returns to her New England after an absence of many years. She returns to paint her aging, eccentric parents. The bittersweet drama is a dramatic portrait of the inner workings of a loving and talented family.

Tickets are available at the Town Office at 15 Water Street or by calling (705)282-2420 x. 4.
