Our local public school, Charles C. McLean, is participating in Jump Rope for Heart & Stroke today March 28th 2024. Their fundraising efforts have placed them in 1st place for fundraising for this event in all of CANADA! Their original goal was to reach $2,500 but their final fundraising numbers were $12,362! There are currently 176 students in our school and they have proved to everyone that numbers isn't everything, even a small school community can make a huge splash! The community really came together in the last week to push the fundraising efforts to get them to first place.  You may have seen posts shared all over Facebook, including by the Town and our Community Spirit & Events group. It is so great to see us all come together for a common cause. We are all so very proud of the students, staff, and their success! Go Colts!
