Grab your glove, round up your team, and enjoy the thrill of the game in a beautiful outdoor setting. Play ball!

Ready to shoot some hoops? The Town of Gore Bay has fantastic basketball courts waiting for you—right by the waterfront! Whether you're looking for a friendly game with friends, practicing your three-pointers, or just getting some fresh air while staying active, this is the place to be. With stunning views and plenty of space to play, why not grab your basketball and head down for some fun? See you on the court!

Sun, sand, and summer fun await at Gore Bay’s beautiful waterfront beach! Located by the Harbour Centre, this spot has everything you need for the perfect beach day—soft sand, a designated swimming area, park equipment for the kids, and plenty of benches to relax and soak up the view. Plus, with a dock in the summer, you can jump right into the refreshing waters! Whether you're building sandcastles, taking a dip, or just enjoying the breeze off the channel, this is the place to be. Grab your sunscreen and head down for some summertime fun!

The beach is located near the Harbour Centre (at 40 Water Street), with public washroom access nearby.

Swim at your own risk. There are no lifeguards on duty.

Gore Bay offers numerous opportunities to enjoy breathtaking views and natural scenery. Whether it is a leisurely stroll along the waterfront boardwalk and breakwall, a hike along either Noble Nature Trail or Lodge Trail, or a scenic picnic at one of the east bluff viewing parks, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Harold Noble Memorial Park (also referred to as the East Bluff Lookout)

Hindman Park Lookout

A lookout offering panoramic views of Gore Bay and picnic areas.

Boardwalk Trail (2 kms)

An easy and accessible trail that runs along the water front. This trail connects to the break wall which will take you out further into the bay. Different landscapes are viewed along this trail offering great photo opportunities. Educational plaques and picnic areas are also available along the boardwalk. 

Noble Nature Trail (1 km)

This trail runs up and along the East Bluff. A few rest stations are available at lookouts along the trail. Access the trail either from East Street via Water Street, or from Noble Boulevard (off of Kinney Street). This is an easy to moderate trail. 

The Lodge Nature Trail (0.75 kms)

This trail is an easy to moderate trail that connects to the Noble Nature Trail. When you get to the end of the trail you can take in the scenic waterfront views while resting under a sheltered gazebo.

Beat the heat and make a splash at Gore Bay’s waterfront splash pad! Perfect for kids (and the young at heart), this fun-filled spot is the ultimate way to cool off on a sunny day. With picnic tables and seating nearby, parents can relax while the little ones laugh, play, and soak up the fun. Bring your towels, pack a snack, and get ready for a splashing good time!

The splash pad is located near the corner of Water Street and Main Street, and is open seasonally from 10:00am to 9:00pm.

Game, set, match! Whether you’re a tennis pro or a pickleball newbie, the Gore Bay courts are the perfect place to get active and have some fun. Grab a friend, challenge your family, or join a friendly match—these fast-paced games are a great way to stay fit and enjoy the fresh air. With well-maintained courts and a beautiful setting, there’s no better place to swing into action. So, rally your crew and come play!
