Gore Bay is fortunate to have four outstanding doctors:
- Dr. Bob Hamilton, who joined the team in 1982;
- Dr. Shelagh McRae, who joined the team in 1982;
- Dr. Chantelle Wilson, who joined the team in 2004; and
- Dr. Zeshan Talib, who joined the team in 2024.
Together, they offer compassionate, expert care that people across western Manitoulin rely on.
In addition, specialists and practitioners, use the Gore Bay Medical Centre on a part-time basis, ensuring that residents have access to experts on all medical issues.

Manitoulin Lodge (Long Term Care Home)
Manitoulin Lodge, located at 3 Main Street, Gore Bay, Ontario, P0P 1H0, is a 48-bed Long Term Care home operated by St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre.
